Central city, Kentucky is a magnificent city, which has plenty of places of interest and amusement, both for the residents and the tourists too. Merle Travis Birth place and Monument November 17, 1917, saw the birth of Merle Travis in Rosewood in Muhlenberg County, to proud parents Rob and Laura Travis. Then later on, his birthplace was shifted to the beautiful Paradise Park, where the renovation took place. Today, it consists not only of the memorabilia, but also the pictures from Hall of Fame along with other interesting articles. He was one of the main people who enhanced the multifaceted picking way, rarely heard of by western Kentucky. Merle Travis passed away on 19th of October, 1983.
